You know I love Nokia 808 PureView for its powerful camera and great media capabilities like FM transmitter. There were still some usable applications in the Symbian ecosystem. No illusions: a greater part of the software was coupled to their web services, and they are now dying. That is why I am going online with my Nokia 808 more seldom.
I have played a while with all that "Win Phones", iPhone(s), Androids, and the effect of all said above is my pondering about downshifting myself to a 10 euro dumb phone like Samsung E1200 rather than buying an Android (or Windows Phone) flagship or an iPhone.
Folks, would you maybe try to live with a list of *urgent apps* (for example, a list of top 7 or more applications compiled here)? Or reduce you mobile internet habits in your own way? If you would, then you maybe notice after a while that you don't need your lovely mobile Internet so badly. Nor would you need a smartphone anymore :)
